Fabrik helped Suur-Savon Sähkö compile its extensive sustainability efforts into a clear, visual, and strategic sustainability report that makes the energy transition, regional impact, and sustainability goals understandable to various stakeholders.
Fabrik handled everything from reviewing the report’s data to writing the text, planning the photography, and designing the layout. The report aligns with ESRS standards, particularly in terms of structure, materiality assessment, and topic-specific content: It includes reporting principles, a description of the business model and strategy, stakeholder perspectives, sustainability management, and a materiality analysis that guides the report’s content. The report does not merely list sustainability initiatives, but rather analyzes Suur-Savon Sähkö’s impacts, risks, and opportunities.
For the report, Fabrik also designed its own brand image concept and handled the photography. The “Movement and Peace” theme combines the energy transition, technology, and purposeful action with a sense of safety, humanity, and peace of mind. In addition to the report, the images will be used across multiple channels in Suur-Savon Sähkö’s sustainability communications.
The end result was a sustainability report that follows the structure of the ESRS standards while still reflecting Suur-Savon Sähkö’s identity and being easy to read and use for communication purposes. The report helps the company communicate its sustainability efforts in a credible, proactive, and equally ambitious manner as larger companies subject to reporting requirements.
