The most important things in our lives happen between people, not on screens.
According to a nationwide survey commissioned by Power, Finns are increasingly concerned about screen time among both children and adults. Many people recognize that moment when their phone slips into their hand, even when there’s something more important going on around them—such as family, friends, or their own downtime. One particularly alarming finding from the survey, for example, was that 87% of parents feel they set a bad example for their children when it comes to screen time.
Power, which is also a major retailer of smart devices, wanted to spark a conversation about the use of smart devices in families. With the right technology, you can build a better everyday life—but it shouldn’t take away from quality time. Fun activities with the family are the best kind of time. It’s important to cherish these shared moments and keep phones at a distance—for both children and adults.

We created a comprehensive campaign for Power on this important and thought-provoking topic. The goal was to encourage people to recognize moments when devices aren’t needed. That way, you can give your children and loved ones your undivided attention. For family members or friends, spending time together away from screens can lead to new insights and spark something wonderful to do together. It’s worth putting down your screen every now and then, looking up, and making eye contact.
In addition to the multimedia advertising campaign, the initiative also included a comprehensive communications package covering the study’s findings and practical tips for the meaningful use of smart devices. The campaign was launched in July 2025 and is still ongoing.
